ABOUT

Gabriella Quevedo is a Swedish guitarist known for her fingerstyle playing on acoustic guitar. She was born in 1997 in Kinna, Sweden, and grew up in a musical family. Her dad, who is from Argentina, also played guitar and taught her when she was young. Gabriella started playing guitar at age 12, and that moment was the start of her journey as a musician.

She soon found fingerstyle guitar online and was amazed by how guitarists could play melody, chords, and rhythm all at once. She began learning by watching videos, listening, and teaching herself how to play. Later, she started making her own versions of popular songs.

Gabriella created a YouTube channel as a teenager, where she shared her guitar covers. Her playing and great song choices quickly got a lot of attention. Some of her most popular covers include “Another Brick In The Wall”, “Here Comes The Sun” and “Sultans of Swing”. Her channel now has over 1.6 million subscribers and more than 290 million views.

Over the years, Gabriella has played live shows around the world, in Europe, Asia, and the US. She has performed with some of the top fingerstyle guitarists, like Tommy Emmanuel and Sungha Jung. She’s played at big festivals and won several music awards, including the Hagström award from the Royal Swedish Academy of Music.
